How does it work?
Connect your PC to the Internet* Insert Smart Plug N Talk in the USB port and ensure it has a SMART SIM
- The Softphone interface will launch automatically in your PC. If the softphone does not launch automatically, go to My Computer, right-click the SMART icon and select Auto Play.
- Ensure that the earpiece is properly inserted in the device.
- Dial the number of the phone you are calling by either pressing the no. keys or clicking on the no. on the softphone keys using your mouse.
- Press on the green call button, and enjoy talking to the person on the other line.

Call and text rates through the SMART Plug N’ Talk are so affordable, it’s almost as if
you’re making Philippine local calls!
Below are the outbound service rates for SMART Plug N’ Talk:
*On-Net: calls / texts made to other SMART numbers
**Off-Net: calls / texts made to non-SMART Philippine numbers
Outbound Text Messages to International Numbers are PHP 15.00 for prepaid subscribers. International Text Message rates vary for SMART Gold and SMART Infinity, depending on your postpaid plan.
There are no charges for receiving Calls and Texts on SMART Plug N’ Talk.

SMART launches Plug ‘N Talk for Filipinos Abroad
Smart Plug ' N Talk[December 11, 2008/ Manila] - Filipinos abroad now have access to an Internet phone that allows them to call any Philippine landline or mobile number for as low as P6.50 per minute!
All they have to do is Plug ‘N Talk with the latest innovation from leading wireless services provider Smart Communications Inc. (SMART)!
SMART’s Plug ‘N Talk is the first USB communication device in the Philippines that allows those outside the country to call and text from an internet-connected PC to any Philippine mobile and landline number using their SMART SIM at close to Philippine local rates!
“Plug ‘N Talk is a breakthrough product because we’ve taken the communications experience beyond the phone-to-phone scenario and enabled an internet-connected computer to transmit voice and SMS to a mobile phone and vice versa,” said Perry V. Bayani, head of SMART Sales and Business Development and International Services Group.
This setup, he said, allows a subscriber, wherever he is the world, to access the SMART network via the Internet and enjoy call rates for as low as P6.50 per minute and text messages for only P1.
